How we work

You’ll always know what happens next. How we work with you: four simple steps, from first talk to review.

Four simple steps, the same whether you’re starting a small SIP or sorting out your whole family’s money. You always know what’s happening, what it costs and who gets paid.

01

We get to know you

A relaxed first meeting, at our Rajula office or on a call. We listen before we suggest anything.

  • Your goals, and when you’ll need the money
  • Your income, expenses, loans and savings
  • How much risk you’re comfortable with
  • The policies and investments you already have
02

We make a plan together

We put your goals in order and show you options that fit, in plain words.

  • Which goal comes first, and how much to set aside for each
  • Funds that match your time frame and risk profile
  • How much life and health cover your family needs
  • What each option costs, and what its risks are
03

We do the paperwork

Once you’re happy with the plan, we handle KYC, forms and follow-up with fund houses and insurers.

  • KYC with your PAN and Aadhaar, if it isn’t done yet
  • SIP and investment forms, and bank mandates
  • Insurance proposal forms, and medical tests if needed
  • Nominee details set right on every account and policy
04

We review and stay in touch

A plan needs looking after. We check in regularly, and whenever your life changes.

  • A regular review of how your plan is tracking
  • Changes when you marry, have a child or change jobs
  • Reminders for renewals and premiums
  • Help with claims, withdrawals and other service requests

What to bring to the first meeting

  • PAN card
  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank details or a cancelled cheque
  • Statements of your existing investments (mutual funds, FDs, PPF, shares)
  • Your current life and health insurance policies
  • A short list of your goals, with rough dates
  • Nominee details: name, date of birth and relationship

How we’re paid

We’re an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-94806). We deal in Regular Plans of mutual funds, and the fund house pays us a commission, which is included in the scheme’s expense ratio. On insurance, the insurer pays us a commission on the policies we arrange.

You don’t pay us a separate fee for meetings, planning or paperwork.

Every fund also has a Direct Plan. It has no distributor commission, so its expense ratio is lower. You can invest in Direct Plans on your own; we don’t deal in them and don’t earn anything on them.

Commission rates differ by fund house and scheme. Full details, including the brokerage structures we receive, are on our disclosures page.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the first meeting free?
Yes. You don’t pay us a fee for meetings, planning or reviews. We’re paid by fund houses and insurers, as explained above.
Do I have to invest after the first meeting?
No. Take the plan home, think it over and ask us anything. Start only when you’re comfortable.
Can we talk on the phone or WhatsApp?
Yes. A lot can be done on a call or on WhatsApp, and KYC can often be done online. Whenever you’d like to sit down and talk, come to our office in Rajula. Get in touch.
What’s the difference between a Regular Plan and a Direct Plan?
Same fund, same fund manager, same investments. A Regular Plan includes the distributor’s commission, so its expense ratio is a little higher. A Direct Plan has no commission and costs less, but you handle the choices and paperwork yourself.
Can you look at investments I made elsewhere?
Yes. Bring your statements and we’ll go through them with you and explain what you hold. Whether to change anything is your decision.
